First photos of our latest frame – the Hammer Te6 – a superlight, super comfortable, super fast ‘do-it-all’ bike!
We used our Te5 as the basis for the new model and simply improved upon an already great frame. The Te6 is now lighter with frames from just 650g (XS), saving c350g across the frameset (frame, forks & s/post). The Te5 struck a great balance between stiffness, composure and comfort, so we didn’t try to make it any stiffer, we did however make it even more comfortable and compliant, meaning it soaks up road buzz even better than before. Quite simply the fastest and smoothest bike we’ve ever ridden – it feels very special!
Tyre clearance has been increased to 34 mm, with a taller stack height giving a more comfortable position, perfect for long rides, whether they’re with club mates or during an epic gran fondo. The handling is still super sharp, but is now even more predictable thanks to the slighly longer wheelbase, meaning descents are even more fun!
The frame is made using a mixture of T800, T900 & T1000, strategically placed to ensure each frame size has the prefect ride quality. It features a UDH gear hanger, meaning it can run any of the latest groupsets and can also be set up with a Direct Mount UDH hanger as shown in the photos; this removes the need for the linkage plate on a Shimano/Campag rear mech, making the set up stiffer for a better gear change (plus we think it looks far better!)
The bike in the photos weighs just 6.85 kg!

The bike shown in the photos is Chameleon Crystal (pearlised dark blue and pearlised dark green) over silver pearlised white – absolutely stunning! As you scroll through the photos, you’ll see the paint change from green to blue to black, sometimes seeing all three at the same time. Very hard to capture with a camera – absolutely incredible in the flesh.
