5) Raid Pyreneen & Hammer Grand Raid Pyreneen (16th – 20th)

The Raid Pyreneen is a 5 day (100 hour max) ride and we’ll ride from West to East. The standard Raid is c720 km with a minimum of 18 cols with 11,000 m of climbing over the full distance. We’ve also created the option of our own ‘Grand Raid’ which adds some iconic climbs such as climbing into Spain at the end of the first day, adding Luz Ardiden on day 2 and heading into Andorra on day 4. You’ll be able to decide each day if you’d like to add in the extra climb (all of which will be detours off the main route, rejoining on the descent). Either way, the logistics are simple and we’ll have a fantastic group. It will also be possible to just ride part of the route each day if you simply fancy one ‘col’ per day.

Everyone joining us for a Hammer Sport trip is a member of the Hammer Sport Cycling Club. Lots of people become a club member before their first trip and then stay as a part of the family. We prepare detailed route summaries for each event (and for all of our rides either side of the event), meaning you’ll know exactly what to expect, with full details of each route and all the climbs. All you have to do is enjoy the (guided) rides and then focus on the event!

We are the UK’s premier European Sportive club with members all over the South of England. Everyone is welcome!
