Teams

Teams of 4 or 5 (can be all male, all female or mixed, with 4 riders to count) are invited to enter the event at the website listed below using team identification titles as follows. The results will then show the solo and team performances and create a unique perspective!

On the day, teams just have to ride the course as quickly as possible in the same context as aiming for a ‘Gold’ time standard.

This is a very popular format on the continent and is signature of our events. We, at Hammer Sports, very much hope that you are able to join us for what will be a memorable day.

(You don’t need to be an officially registered team or club. If you fancy creating a team with 4 or 5 friends, then simply choose a name and fill in the relevant box within the entry questions).

[tab:Langste 143 km, 1705 m details]

The Langste 143 km heads North from Charlbury, crossing the legendary Fosse Way and into the heart of the Cotswolds.

With fast flowing, carefully chosen roads and spectacular views, you’ll get into a great rhythm as you fly to Shipston-on-Stour and onto Chipping Campden. No sportive in the Cotswolds would be complete without climbing the beautiful Castle Hill from Winchecombe, and the Langste doesn’t disappoint, ticking off the climb with its 20% ramps as you pass Sudeley Castle. From the top you head for Bourton-on-the-Hill en route to the final feed station at Moreton-in-the-Marsh . Then it’s just the run for the finish!

The route will take you on a spectacular tour of the Cotswolds and with far more descending than climbing in the final 35 km, you’re sure to finish with a smile on your face!
